Potential Loose Part in Throttle Body Area - Risk of Stuck Throttle

Dear Ski-Doo® or Lynx® Owner,
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act. This is to inform you that your vehicle may contain a defect that could affect the safety of a person. BRP is conducting a safety recall.
Our records show that you own a potentially affected unit.
What is the potential problem?
Engine Control Module (ECM) lower mount support may have broken in production and left a broken part inside of the engine compartment. The broken part could lead to a stuck throttle and cause serious injuries or even death.
Which models are involved?
Certain Model Year 2025 snowmobiles equipped with the following engines:
600R E-TEC
850 E-TEC
850 E-TEC Turbo R
What will BRP do?
BRP will perform this recall at no charge to you (parts and labor). The procedures will take less than an hour and include inspecting both the ECM and the throttle body area.
What should YOU do?
BRP recommends that you avoid using your vehicle until the safety recall is completed. Schedule an appointment immediately with any authorized BRP Ski-Doo®/Lynx® dealer to have the safety recall repair performed on your unit. To find a dealer, see the end of this letter.

If you know the current owner or operator, please forward this letter to them.
If there has been a change of ownership or you have a change of address, please notify BRP so we can update our records accordingly.
