Passion
I love exploring and finding new areas to ride, and the more technical to get into, the better. Having a whole mountain range with you and a few friends to play on is hard to beat. In the off-season when I’m not away working, I hit the dirt and do lots of enduro dirtbiking, fishing and mountain biking.
Riding
I live in Revelstoke and ride the mountains surrounding the town. There are some wicked spots to sled with lots of deep powder. I like the challenge of breaking trail in deep powder and making my way through technical steep trees with the reward of some alpine playgrounds.
Gear
I have been wearing Ski-Doo helium gear for quite a few years . There Helium 50 works awesome and is really tough and waterproof. The Highmark OutDry gloves have been unreal as well, with great durability – perfect for aggressive mountain riding.
Normal Job
I do some guiding for Carl Kuster at CKMP and do a bit of guiding out of my own place in Revy at www.logchalet.com. But I guess my “real” job is commercial fishing off Vancouver Island, B.C.
Most fun on a sled ever
That’s a tough one as there’s been a lot of good days. Last season in the beginning of March, we had one epic day that we put on 140km of riding in 3 feet of fresh pow with bluebird conditions . Had technical trees to pillows to alpine carving to jumps… anyways, it was epic!!
